Premium Medium Perlite is a light, hard, aerated, white mineral formed from volcanic glass. It is used in potting mixes to enhance open and porous drainage, provide aeration to plant roots, and hold oxygen, moisture, and nutrients from soluble fertilizers.

This product is particularly effective for quality seed-starting mixes and rooting cuttings, as the excellent drainage encourages rapid root production, making it ideal for succulents and orchids. Premium Medium Perlite can also be lightly scattered across your lawn’s surface, where it will gradually work into the soil to improve drainage.In seed-raising mixtures, Perlite promotes quicker germination and improves seedling growth. Seedlings are easily removed from Perlite with minimal root damage during transplanting, ensuring minimal disturbance.
